  Two reviews mention pyramid schemes, whoever wrote those (probably the same person) clearly does not know what a Ponzi or pyramid scheme is. As a member for 10 years I can assure you that the very highest standards of propriety are maintained in all areas. As the pastorship has recently been passed to a younger generation, any suggestion of cult is nonsensical...... people are free to come and go as they please.

  Extremely cult like organisation that take passages from the bible and warp them so the focus revolves around money and "first fruits" effectively praying to God to put a figure of money in your mind to give to the church in the faith driven hope that God will return these "first fruits" with interest. Also warp childrens mind with nonsensical views on science, evolution and even the history of the document they so blithely take out of context to serve their capitalist agenda namely the bible. Young people are encouraged to marry each other to ensure the next generation of cult members are indoctrinated at a young age who are then encouraged to have lots of children and so on. The place is run like a true mafia cult the proof of which is that the church was handed down to the previous pastors son-in-law to keep it in the family and ensure their inflated salary is safeguarded. Any scandals involving the leadership are played down and kept quiet, a lot of control is exerted on members lives including people they socialise with, how they spend their time. encouraged to stick to the insular church community rather than make friends in the real world, indeed, "the world" is a great evil that the church makes very clear will lead to your corruption and downfall. It's a shame because a lot of nice people have been brainwashed including some of my own family members. The really sad thing is that they believe this warped cult version of the scriptures (themselves translated and doctored) will lead them to salvation. Can preach on a Sunday about Jesus overturning the money changers tables in the temple yet the whole place is money focused, it is one big business. Tax breaks under the guise of a charity and then rake in money from the book store, cafe and childrens play area. A hallowed temple of God I think not, a lucrative money maker passing itself off as a place of God. Spend some time there you will realise everything I say is the truth.
